Researchers found that those people with severe psoriasis were 46 percent more likely to get a type II diabetes diagnosis than people without the condition, even after weight and other health factors were taken into account.
But, don’t despair – numerous studies have shown that type II diabetes can be prevented and even cured by a high fibre, low fat diet. And, as luck would have it, a low fat diet has been shown to be very beneficial and helps in alleviating psoriasis symptoms.
